It's about bracing yourself!

Assalamualaikum and a very good day mate!
Dear Readers,

I always heard people say, "hey! brace yourself!" before.
Well, mostly in movies.
Never thought that I have to say that to myself now.
I'm about to get my braces now.
Yes! finally. I know.
Never had the perfect time to do so during last 5 years.
Simply because I was spending my most enthralling 5 years in a boarding school. SMAPK
This situation I was in made it a bit difficult to undergo orthodontic treatment (as what dentistry studenst would prefer to call it) or 'braces' as the name most people are accustomed with.

RAINBOW COLOUR! DEFINITELY A BIG NO FOR ME!

Firstly, yes I know a few tooth will be 'sacrificed' even if they are perfectly fine and healthy.
Second, I know it will cost my parents a few thousands to get it done, especially if we do it in a private clinic.
Well, thirdly, no one ever warned me before about how excruciating it can be.
Never see that coming.
Now, I have to say to myself, "hey! brace yourself man!"
Having my 1st premolar teeth removed was not a hunky-dory experience.
The pain was subhanAllah!
I believe, even the current strongest man on earth cannot breath easy with the pain.
Just imagine, you have a big cut in your gum and at the same time it feels itchy right on the cut spot.
How does that feel?

Haven't remember the same tormenting pain since last 10 years whereby I had my spoiled teeth removed.
I take this as kifarah for my sins. I have indeed sinned a lot for the past 17 years.
Hoping It will lessen my bad deeds( sins) that I've committed.

For now, I cannot talk much as each word comes with a sting in the gum.
Hope it'll be all good this next Tuesday.
Yeah, dream on atif! another tooth coming out! not going to be easy...toot toot....
And you know what they say:
No pain No gain!
and oh yes: beauty is pain!

Thanks for reading guys!
Take care!

It's about 'give and take'

Assalamualaikum and a very good day mate!
Dear Readers,

Turning 18 is just another process of life that everyone will have the chance to feel (If they live that long, insya Allah).
It's just the way you celebrate it, that makes it a bit different from the past birthdays.
Instead of just accepting things, why not we learn the meaning of giving.
As when turning 18, we will not be attached or bind to the child act 2001, there are few new things that we can do now. Good things are what I meant.
To celebrate and make my 18th birthday a little bit differently, I planned to donate my blood to the blood bank.
Nevertheless, something went awry and I couldn't do it on the 22nd February.
But, when there's a will, there's a way right?
Thus, earlier today I made my way to the general hospital to do the deed as planned few days ago.
Donating blood is not a hard thing to do.
Just go to the information counter, tell the receptionist what you want to do, she will give you a visitor's tag:

Then, off you go to the lab. Lab assistants and nurses will help you out for the rest.
Donating blood is not really painful, well, maybe a bit when the nurse try to poke the needle to your blood vessel. It was just like being pinch by your baby sister or brother. Nothing much.
About 15 minutes or so after the blood 'packet' is full, the nurse will stop the blood flow to the packet.

Then she will keep your blood in the blood bank after several procedures.
After that, the nurse will let you rest for a while and give a goody bag as a symbol of gratitude.
Sound easy right?
It is! Piece of cake, as easy as ABC and you name it.

It only takes your courage and willingness to do this deed.
Who knows. One day, it could be one of your beloved ones who need the blood supply.
Do keep in mind the blood bank is lack of supply day by day.
It wont hurt to spend a few minutes to help.
Oh ya. After 17 years of living, only now I know my blood is in the group O.
I'm a Universal Donor!
Glad to know it but a little worry, because according to the biological knowledge I only can accept blood from the same group(group O)
Suddenly, it makes me thinking about teacher Azma's Biology class. =)

WARNING! SOME MIGHT FIND THIS PHOTO UNPLEASANT TO LOOK AT.

At the end of the process you will get a little book which will keep all the information on your blood donating activity:

Before you go there, make sure you consume sufficient amount of water, to ensure that the process will go smoothly.

I think that's all for now..
Thanks for reading guys!
Take care!

It's me, thanking you!

It's about getting older

Assalamualaikum and a very good day mate!
Dear Readers,

About 6 hours and 30 minutes from now(malaysia time) I'm about to enter a new chapter of my life. The chapter of 'Adulthood'. Turning legal maybe is something that most people like but for now I'm quite reluctant to 'go' there just yet.
I love being someone who people always refer as a kid. Less problems, less things to think about. As much as I could recall, life as a kid is really exciting. Everything is new to you and everything is fun to do.
But yeah, there are a lot of 'limits' when you're a kid.
I miss the phrases:
"hey kid, you're too young to do that"
"hey you, you still a boy"
"Please get your parents' consent first"
I miss to hear those words. Probably after this, nobody would say something like that to me again.
But hey!
Life goes on.
Viva La Vida.
Live your life as it is.
Alhamdulillah.
Allah still give me the chance to live.
I want to do something different for tomorrow.
I'll let you guys know what it is.
Later perhaps.
Hello 18! goodbye 17.........

Thanks for reading guys!

It's how to perform Dhuha prayer

Assalamualaikum and a very good day mate.

Dear Readers,

I know it has been a while since my last post and I'm really sorry for it. No excuses. I was just not in the 'mood' to write on this blog. But thinking of my promise to write about Dhuha prayer, my heart is not at peace as long as I haven't keep that promise.
Maybe most of the people who read this blog had already know how to perform it, but just want to share with anybody who doesn't know how to do it,
So here it goes:

I'll write it in Malay so that it will not be wrong translated and easier to understand as I believe most who read this blog can understand Malay.

1.Niat(dalam hati)
2.Lafaz niat
Sahaja aku solat sunat Dhuha, 2 rakaat kerana Allah Ta'ala.
3.Baca Al-fatihah.
7. sehingga sempurna rukun solat.

Wallah hu alam bissawab. Jika ada kesilapan sila perbetulkan.

That's all for now...
Thanks for reading guys!

P/S:dah update dah miza...happy now?=)
